Students can #ShareAwesome and win prizes and technology for their school!

By Kids For Kids Co. worked with the National PTA to launch their #ShareAwesome campaign on September 16! #ShareAwesome is National PTA's first public awareness campaign that addresses online safety and digital citizenship in a fun and positive way. With the support of their sponsor LifeLock, they are working to help families create an open, evolving conversation about digital technology's role in our everyday lives and empower them to make more positive and safer decisions.

The program includes a national contest, administered by BKFK, for teens to show how they "share awesome" online and winners receive exciting prizes and earn technology for their schools!

This is what your students need to know to enter:
#ShareAwesome and Win Contest Prizes: Students ages 13-17 can participate in the contest and must submit an entry on ShareAwesomeNow.org/Challenge by November 30. Ten finalists will receive a Microsoft Surface Pro2 and our grand prize winner will receive a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, a $2,500 scholarship and technology for their school.

Teachers can learn more about positive digital citizen at
ShareAwesomeNow.orga hub of expert information compiled from National PTA partners, including activation tools for students, parents and PTAs. The site includes online safety and digital citizenship quizzes for parents and students, a composite of #ShareAwesome contest submissions and a section with tips for educators on how to teach students to be safer, smarter, more positive digital citizens.
